Usual things

Everyday overlooking of beautiful things.

On my phone home screen, I had this photo I’ve made.

It’s a gorgeous photo of a drop of water on a leaf. Taken up from close.

I remember, when I first took it. I couldn’t stop looking at it. Wondering why it’s so beautiful.

Probably a year, or more passed by, and I don’t even recognize it’s there.

And I thought, what if we do similar things to the stuff we are familiar with. What if we do the same to the everyday beautiful things.

You walk into a room, sees a wife sitting there. Not even remembering when did you last time look at it. Isn’t she gorgeous? I know her t-shirt is kinda worn off, needed a bit cleaning after the ice cream from yesterday, but doesn’t it add to an atmosphere?

Remember that time, you were staring at the screen, hoping she would just reply on your stupid message. “Oh god. Why have I written it? That’s so stupid.”

Now she is there, and you look only at her bigger belly. Ahahaha! Gotcha!

“What, what are you doing?” She might ask. Looking at you suspiciously. “Do I have something on me?” Well yeah, t-shirt! Get that thing away. We are gonna have bang time! I mean, with hammer and stuff. The Ikea shelf isn’t holding good.

Gotcha, second time. We need to do the Sunday tasks. “What they are not gonna made by themselves!” And then have a sex.

Oh no, that’s not an article I was planning on writing. Listen, I don’t know where the fantasies come from. They are kinda fun though.

Next time you would see that thing you’ve seen a million times. Stop, and look at it as if the first time again. Because it is.

So what she has a bigger belly? At least it jumps in a funny way. No?
