Social media pause

Every Monday and Thursday.

Today, talking to my nephew, I’ve said: “We should stop Facebook and others on Monday and Thursday. Like in Ready player one.”

He looked at me, confused.

“You know, like in the movie. They were with their families.”

Didn’t help.

“Just in the game, everybody who was playing, with all the gear, had a pause where nobody was playing. On Monday and Thursday. And been with families.”

Him: “Oh, yeah!” Finally, we got connected.

And I think, it would help. Have two days in the week, where it would be offline. Where people would need to go and look around. What the world is like without it.

Okay, I get it might be painful. But it would like motivate us to go, and seek people. This pain. Maybe, I am naive.

But this agreement between the giants of social media, would fit.
