Getting calm
A long journey back.
Just yesterday, me and my friend were talking about chill mode. It’s the one that you feel at peace. And I noted that high performance people know how to get into it really fast. He asked me if I have any recommendation how to get into it.
I stopped, thought for a moment and said: “I don’t want to recommend you anything. And that’s probably my recommendation.” I know, strange, but it made sense to me.
When I was on a journey to discover the calming method or the one to feel good, call it whatever you want. I went to YouTube. I ended up trying gazillion things. From changing diets to sleep, and whatever you can imagine. I ended up with mixed results. The more I worked on it, the more I found out that the ones, that worked the best, were the ones I made for myself by myself.
So, is my recommendation strange? Possibly. But, is the best one I can give.
That’s not to say: “Don’t discover.” Go wherever you want, experiment, do whatever you want. But at the end of the day, come back and ask yourself: “Did it worked?” Be honest, it’s all you need. That’s sounds so cheesy. But whatever, I like it! It’s cool cool.
Wanna be high performing chill guy? Maybe don’t go to stuff that makes you unchill in a first place.
One helpful pointer is: “Be bored.”
